Also wanted a refresher re-read because of it being discontinued。
Prabhani ThembiliyaGodage,
Beautiful imaginations but i don’t understand the purpose of how it ends。
Anna Croft,
Typically, I am a Dr。 Seuss fanatic, but this one is just not my favorite。 The story line is fun, and I love getting to see Marco have such a vivid imagination。 I only give this three stars, though, because I do not think many kid's imaginations run that wild。 For a child, that may make it difficult to understand and connect with the book。 This may be a great book to read at home, but I don't like it too well for my class。 Overall, it is a fun book, but I do not think it would be great in my cla Typically, I am a Dr。 Seuss fanatic, but this one is just not my favorite。 The story line is fun, and I love getting to see Marco have such a vivid imagination。 I only give this three stars, though, because I do not think many kid's imaginations run that wild。 For a child, that may make it difficult to understand and connect with the book。 This may be a great book to read at home, but I don't like it too well for my class。 Overall, it is a fun book, but I do not think it would be great in my classroom。 。。。more

Rich Farrell,
I know I’ve read this book many times before, including after I’ve had my Goodreads account, so I don’t know why I never logged it。 Regardless, this is one of my grandpa’s favorite children’s books growing up and so sentimentally I like it more than I probably would otherwise。 (I even have an early addition I picked up at Lit Fest one year that usually is part of our household decor。)I read it to E。 as a bedtime story, and the boy’s building imagination culminating in a classic sitting-on-Santa’ I know I’ve read this book many times before, including after I’ve had my Goodreads account, so I don’t know why I never logged it。 Regardless, this is one of my grandpa’s favorite children’s books growing up and so sentimentally I like it more than I probably would otherwise。 (I even have an early addition I picked up at Lit Fest one year that usually is part of our household decor。)I read it to E。 as a bedtime story, and the boy’s building imagination culminating in a classic sitting-on-Santa’s-lap brain freeze is fun and relatable。 (Yes, Dr。 Seuss has some problematic issues with cultural sensitivity, but I like the sentiment of the story even if it stumbles here and there。) 。。。more

This is the classic Seuss book that started a career。 A young boy uses his fertile imagination upon seeing a horse pulling a cart。。。。 Or is it a big elephant pulling a cart。。。or is the elephant pulling a team of fire trucks???!!! Some would say Seuss degraded youngsters with autism。 I say he made AUTISTIC。。。。ARTISTIC。Four starsI found my thrill on Mulberry Street。 What's yours? Our second grade teacher read this book to us。 I loved it then and still do。 More colorful characters keep getting added to the story, to the delight of the reader。 It has been a favorite and has been passed down for two more generations。

I look at this in 2 ways。。。1。 It speaks to the power of our imagination and creativity。2。 How the truth can be so easily embellished if we think it's too bland。Anyway, I like this。 Dr。 Seuss was quite the story teller。 I look at this in 2 ways。。。1。 It speaks to the power of our imagination and creativity。2。 How the truth can be so easily embellished if we think it's too bland。Anyway, I like this。 Dr。 Seuss was quite the story teller。 。。。more

Amy "the book-bat",
Sometimes imaginations make stories grow and evolve。。。 and then when someone asks about it, it all goes away。 The kid in this book had a fun and wild imagination。

Westin Hankins,
This fun Dr。 Seuss book was engaging getting to learn about as you were getting to explore the imagination of a child on his way home。 When reading this would be a fun book to implement in rhyming or even different animals to younger aged students。
Ian Shepherd,
Hard to believe that this book was first published in 1937。 Most excellent book。 I will most certainly enjoy reading it to my grandchildren。 It is up there with Scramble Eggs Super ! & McElligot’s Pool the latter being my all time favourite along with the Lorax which I love and at one time could recite。Enjoy。
E Ashley ,
My father bought “Six by Seuss”-a collection of (a little over) 6 stories by Dr。 Seuss-for my brother and I when we were just a month old。 I really adore these stories; they’re magical!
Reader Wasp,

The story here is simple and straightforward, but very effective。 The chaotic energy in the accompanying illustrations perfectly reflect Marco's vivid imagination。 The story here is simple and straightforward, but very effective。 The chaotic energy in the accompanying illustrations perfectly reflect Marco's vivid imagination。 。。。more
